ABOUT THE DRACHMA INSTITUTE
The Drachma Institute is a non-profit in Toronto dedicated to the democratization of knowledge, the defense of freedom through the exploration of truth, and the advocacy of the poor, sick, and the suffering.
PETER GLINOS
Executive Director
Peter is a Queen's University Master's candidate, has an honour's BA in history and biology from Wilfrid Laurier University, and a BEd from Queen's University. His interests include but are not limited to Eastern European history, evolutionary theory, Christianity, anarchism, and alternative forms of education.
SAMAN ARFAIE
Researcher
An Honours Graduate from UC Berkeley with a BSc in Molecular Cell Biology, BA in Persian Literature and minors in Chemistry and Music, Saman is an intellectual polymath with a wide range of interests. An accomplished pianist, scientist and philosophile, he appreciates all forms of thinking. He is currently a medical student at McGill University.
FARAZ HONOVAR
Researcher
Faraz has an MSc as well as an Honours BSc from the University of Toronto, with a background in neuroscience. His interests include medical science, neuropsychology, and ethics.
ERIKA SHIM
Researcher
Erika holds a post-graduate diploma in Biotechnology from Centennial College along with a BSc in Biomedical Science from the University of Waterloo with a minor in Psychology. Her interests include the fields of microbiology, pathology, epidemiology, and biotechnology.
